This year, I’m excited to add something new to the Christmas refreshments at Mango Hair Design, Leeds — Bird & Blend’s Irish Cream Tea.
It’s a gorgeous blend of chocolate, vanilla, and coffee, and it makes the perfect festive treat when served as a hot tea latte. A cosy winter warmer for you to enjoy while having your roots refreshed, a balayage brightened, your blonde revived, or your haircut renewed. It’s my little thank-you for your continued support — and because it’s the season for treats!

I’ve just read Bird & Blend’s blog “Handmade With Love This Christmas”, and it really resonated with me. I love the chaotic, wonderful energy of Christmas — where a tree can be decorated with love rather than skill. I was chatting with a client recently about this. I’d let my son decorate our tree however he wanted, even if the big baubles ended up at the top and the little ones at the bottom. It didn’t matter to me — he enjoyed himself, and that’s what counts.

My client, on the other hand, liked her trees perfectly coordinated to match her décor and had one in every room! And that’s the beauty of it — there’s no right or wrong way. Reading the blog reminded me that I’m firmly in the “made with love” camp, and it brought back happy memories of Christmases past. And for the record, my son now decorates a tree beautifully… even without being told where baubles should go! 😊
