Recently, I attended a Luxe Blonde Lived-In Blondes course at Wella professionals UK hosted by Nikki Clifford Luxe Blonde specialist based in Chesterfield where she has an award winning salon NJUK.
The day was truly incredible, thanks to Nikki’s remarkable expertise and engaging teaching style. Our morning began with Nikki’s inspiring demonstration of advanced balayage and luxe lived-in blonde techniques, where she shared her signature methods for creating seamless, natural-looking colour. She provided valuable hints and tips for achieving that effortlessly blended blonde, explaining how to tailor the approach for different hair types and client preferences. During her demo, Nikki broke down each step—from sectioning and product choice to application and finishing touches—making complex techniques accessible and practical.
In the afternoon, we put Nikki’s techniques into practice by working on our own hair models. This hands-on session gave me the chance to consolidate my existing knowledge while learning new, on-trend approaches. Nikki offered personalised feedback throughout, helping me refine my skills and encouraging me to experiment with creative placements and finishes. The energy and motivation in the room were palpable, making the experience both inspiring and uplifting.
